Angel Cloninger is a Charlotte native and graduate of Queens University of Charlotte. Professionally, Angel spent 12 years in Finance at Duke Energy and Bank of America. In 2010, Angel joined the largest food service company in the world, Compass Group, where she continues to support the North America CEO, a role she has held for the past 15 years. Angel is active with InReach, an organization that provides innovative housing, employment, and community service to people with disabilities.

Angel spent 4 seasons as a TopCat from 1998 to 2001 where she was a line captain in 2001 and Topcats show team member in 2000 & 2001. In 2002, Angel moved to Tampa, FL and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders. The Tampa Bay Bucs went on to win Super Bowl 37 where they defeated the Oakland Raiders in San Diego, CA. After the Super Bowl win, she retired and continued to stay involved with the TopCats. Angel helped to field assist, organize social events, and played in multiple powder puff tournaments. Her most memorable Alumni experience was performing Thriller at the October 2014 Half-Time Show dressed up as a Zombie.

Angel enjoys spending time with her husband, Lane and their two children, Sloan and Grant, and continues to cheer on her kids at their sports games.
