I am proud to be part of the Carolina Professional Football Cheerleaders Alumni Association — a connection that ties together my passion for cheerleading, community, and lifting others up both on and off the field.

With 29 years in education, I have dedicated my career to inspiring students and empowering teachers. I have served as a teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for 9 years, an administrator across all grade levels for 12 years, and a district administrator for 2 years. One of my most rewarding roles was serving as the founding principal of Monroe Charter Academy in Waxhaw, NC — an experience that strengthened my commitment to building learning environments where every student can thrive.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics from Winston-Salem State University, followed by a master’s degree in School Administration and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.

Beyond the classroom, my love for cheerleading has always been a special part of my journey. I cheered for Winston-Salem State University (1994–1995), the Charlotte Rage arena football team (1996), and the Carolina Panthers as a TopCat in 1999 — memories I will always cherish. I also coached cheerleading from 1996 to 2003, encouraging young athletes to build confidence, teamwork, and pride in themselves and their communities.

When I’m not cheering others on through my work in schools, I treasure spending time with my wonderful family: my husband Kedrick, my daughter Chelsie, my bonus daughter Zariah, my bonus son Jayden, and my sweet grandson Zymir. Our beloved fur baby, Simy, rounds out our family with plenty of love and joy. I also enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and taking time to rest and reflect.

I am grateful to remain connected to my Carolina Panthers Cheerleading family and look forward to continuing to serve, inspire, and uplift others through every new chapter of life.
