Misty Williams-Adams is a native of North Carolina. She started dancing at 3 years old. Driven by her passion for dance and music, she has traveled extensively, embracing opportunities that have shaped her both personally and professionally. At the age of 14, she was selected as a member of the American Clogging Hall of Fame, an esteemed recognition of her dedication to dance.
Professionally, Misty has built a successful 25-year career as a licensed cosmetologist. In addition to owning and operating her own business for over 18 years, she also travels as a freelance stylist, providing services for a diverse clientele.
Beginning in 2004, Misty spent three seasons as a member of the TopCats. During her rookie season, she had the honor of traveling to Fort Hood, in Texas, to visit with U.S. Army troops-an experience she will never forget. In 2006, she was selected as one of only two team representatives to compete in the NFL Cheerleader Challenge, a nationally televised reality competition on the NFL Network. In addition to her involvement with numerous charitable organizations during her time as a TopCat, Misty formed some of her closest friendships and created lasting memories that continue to shape and inspire he today.
Following her time as a TopCat, Misty shifted her focus to advancing her career and expanding her business. Over the past six years, she has dedicated her time to serving as a Guardian ad Litem, a court appointed advocate for children in foster care. This role has been deeply meaningful, making a profound impact not only on the lives of the children she supports but on her own as well. In 2025, Misty accepted the role of Era Captain within the CPFCAA, representing the TopCats alumni from the 2001-2005 seasons. She looks forward to reconnecting with these remarkable women and remaining actively involved in an organization that has had a lasting impact on her life.
In addition to her passion for dance and her commitment to serving children in her community, Misty enjoys traveling with her husband, Chase-a PGA professional-tending to her rose garden, and, of course, cheering on her beloved Carolina Panthers.
